Providers at CHI Health St. Mary work with patients in diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the immune system including allergies, asthma, and more.

Depending on the person, a treatment plan will be created using various testing, diagnosis, treatment, and on-going management of their condition.

The arrhythmia clinic serves local patients of the CHI Health Clinic Heart Institute. Patients with pacemakers and implanted defibrillators can receive a nurse assessment, an EKG, and a device evaluation by a tech or midlevel provider.

Regular screening for colon cancer is an important part of prevention and early detection. Colorectal cancer is highly treatable when found early. Screening tests can find colorectal growths, or polyps, so they can be removed before they become cancerous.

Colon cancer screenings and other gastroenterology services are available via specialty clinic at St. Mary’s.

At CHI Health, our team of board-certified Endocrinologists are internal medicine specialists that have completed advanced training in hormonal diseases and are certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism.  Your Endocrinologist does not replace your primary care provider and will communicate regularly with your primary care clinician.

Our Gastroenterology tele-health team specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a full range of digestive tract disorders. These include conditions such as:

  • Heartburn and reflux
  • Liver problems
  • Inflammatory bowel disease
  • Others

Our team will assess your symptoms to diagnose the issue, and work closely with your primary care physician to develop a customized digestive health treatment plan, integrating lifestyle and dietary changes, medication and other non-invasive techniques whenever possible. The wound care center/clinic at CHI Health St. Mary’s specializes in outpatient treatments of chronic wounds and wounds that are hard to heal. Physicians and nurses with advanced training in wound management strive to maximize patient comfort and deliver the fastest, most effective recoveries possible. A vital aspect of treatment includes learning how to properly dress and care for a wound.
